The Superformance GT is an authentic continuation collectible that is registry eligible and carries a continuation series GT40 number. In developing the GT40, engineers went to great lengths to ensure authenticity, as more than 90% of the parts are interchangeable with the original car including the "monocoque "style chassis. The GT40 also boasts of a pressed steel roof and beautifully finished body. The GT40 is built to accommodate either a big or small block engine with a ZF/RBT transaxle, although, as with all Superformance products, the GT40 will be supplied without an engine and transaxle.
