1965 Superformance MKIII 427 S/C Cobra replica. This stunning like new car is finished in a beautiful Royal Blue paint with twin White stripes. This Cobra is a true big block Ford Cobra Jet 460, bored & stroked to 514 cid! This custom built Ford Racing engine is rated at 600+ horsepower! And the big block sound to match all that power! This MKIII is chassis #SPO1584 and is in excellent condition with less than 2500 miles!! First licensed in 2004 under California’s SB-100 law which means no smog certification for life. Remember all MKIIIs are factory built rolling chassis with all new components and a show quality factory paint job. Chassis and suspension components all from top tier automotive suppliers including Bilstein shocks & Wilwood brakes. This Cobra is priced well under replacement cost and is absolutely like new!

Engine build details: Ford Cobra Jet 460 block, bored & stroked with a nodular iron crank resulting in 545 cubic inches. The block was lined honed and decked then topped off with Performer RPM aluminum heads and Performer RPM intake.The carb is a Barry Grant “Demon” model. Additional build specs. include a custom cam with solid lifters, billet rockers, forged pistons and steel H-Beam rods. Accessories include Canton 7 qt oil pan with windage tray, Ford oil pump, polished pulley kit. MSD billet distributor with a MSD 6AL box. Included on this MKIII are the silver ceramic coated headers & side pipes plus stainless side pipe shields & a radiator bug screen.

Transmission, Driveline & Suspension: Transmission is Tremec  TKO 5008, clutch is a 12” McLeod Dual friction disc & Luk pressure plate actuated by a hydraulic clutch slave. Bellhousing is a Ford cast iron. Driveshaft is custom made, connecting the Dana differential. The MKIII has all independent suspension with factory spec custom springs, Bilstein shocks & Wilwood brakes. This car has the optional upgraded Polished 17” knock-off aluminum wheels are pin drive & carry Michelin Pilot Sport radials 275/40 zR17 front & 335/35zR17 rear. The AC center caps for the knock offs are a nice finishing touch!

Cockpit: The MKIII interior is fully equipped with correct original 1965 style Smiths gauges, Lucas switches, German leather seats, wool carpeting & a Moto Lita wood rimmed wheel. Additional features include heater/defroster, dual fresh air vents, vent wings & tinted visors. Dropped foot boxes, map pockets, tonneau cover and top with side curtains. Optional accessories include a Carroll Shelby signed glove box, Superformance car cover and Superformance floor mats are featured in this well cared for MKIII Cobra. Special options include Amerex chrome  fire extinguisher, dual shoulder harnesses for driver & passenger & a trunk mounted kill switch.
